In a time of global instability and war, we turn to the impact on those who are displaced. This webinar delves into the practice of excluding migrants and refugees from acceptance and practices of inclusion within society. The speakers will discuss and challenge this practice from a justice standpoint (social and legal) for refugees as a function of war and colonialism (external and internal conflicts), and time since the event that caused migration/displacement. Solidarity and acceptance from the point of view of the society accepting migrants/refugees is also examined.
This is the third webinar in a series of joint international webinars presented by Charles Sturt University Australia and Masaryk University, Brno Czech Republic.
